The answer C correctly uses possessive form and is the right answer. It's not A because there is only one George so the apostrophe is in the wrong place. In B, there's not even an apostrophe and it's not clear as to whether there is only one cousin or two or more cousins. In answer D, here should not be an apostrophe for develops.

Answer:

C. The perspective because of the child's young age does not hinder his admiration.

Explanation:

This is the only sentence that correctly uses the possessive form. In this example, the author uses the apostrophe and the "s" with a single noun. This is the correct usage. The other sentences, if they were correct, would read:

A. George's...

B. cousins'....

D. develops

Fiesta28 [93]

The Tone is achieved through word choice (diction), sentence construction and word order (syntax), and by what the viewpoint character focuses on.
