A problem-solving group is one that investigates an issue in order to deal with it. In this case, the group formed by teachers, parents and social workers provide information concerning the issue after they have carried out extensive research and analyzed the possible reasons for the problem. After that, they submit their findings or information gathered to the school board so that a solution be reached.
