If Manuel's final answer does not total to 60, he must have done an error.

Prime factorization of 60;

60=6*10

Hector works on the 4th floor of a high rise building. He needs to go up 9 floors to get to the cafeteria for lunch, and then go
IRINA_888 [86]
So, start at 4. You know that he needs to go up  floors, so it would be 4 + 9, which is 13.
He is now on the 13th floor. You also know, that he needs to go down 5 floors. So the equation would look like this:
4 + 9 - 5 = ?
so, 13 - 5 is 8.
The meeting is on the 8th floor.

Hope this helps!!

8 less than the product of - 3 and a number is greater than - 26
Stella [2.4K]

When the problem says "a number," it's referring to a variable, commonly x. With this knowledge, we can make an equation out of this:

-3x - 8 > -26

If we add 8 to both sides, much like how fractions work, the statement still works:

-3x - 8 + 8 > -26 + 8

-3x > -18

Now, we divide both sides by -3. Because we are dividing by a negative, the sign flips:

x < 6

Therefore, x < 6.

Hope this helps! :)

Which statement and reason best complete the proof
KiRa [710]

Answer:

Segment EG ≅ segment EG by the reflexive property.

Step-by-step explanation:

In the diagram given, already, two angles (<H and <HEG) of ∆HEG has been stated to be equal to two corresponding angles (<F and <FGE) of ∆FGE.

To prove that ∆HEG is congruent to ∆HEG by the Angle-Angle-Side Congruence Theorem, we need to state that they also have one corresponding side that is congruent.

Therefore, the statement and reason that will complete the proof would be:

Segment EG is congruent to segment EG by the reflexive property.

Both triangles share the same segment, EG. This completes the proof.
