Why does the exchange of gases between blood and body tissues not occur through the walls of arteries?
Novosadov [1.4K]

Explanation:

Capillaries are thinnest blood vessels there are in human body or basically in any multicellular living creature. Capillaries are so thin, they are like a sheet made of cells. So there is nothing like capillaries which can introduce blood with the materials to be absorbed without letting both of them mix directly. Arteries and veins are too thick to carry out such exchange.

In some species, young individuals float freely as plankton while mature members are fixed on the seafloor. this is an effective
FrozenT [24]
This is an effective strategy because different phases do not compete for food.
For example for the case of Jelly fish, After a brief period floating about in surface waters like planktons, the  larvae then settles to the sea floor, attaching themselves to one end. They then develop to polyps and begin to feed and grow. In spring the polyps bud iff immature jellyfish known as ephyra larvae which then grow to mature jellyfish.

The template strand of part of a gene has the base sequence TGAGAAGACCAGGGTTGT. What is the sequence of RNA transcribed from thi
Klio2033 [76]

Answer:

The answer to your question is ACUCTTCUGGUCCCAACA

Explanation:

Base sequence

                         TGAGAAGACCAGGGTTGT

Nitrogenous bases change from DNA to RNA

                   DNA                      RNA

                      Adenine                 Uracil

                      Thymine                  Adenine

                      Guanine                 Cytosine

                      Cytosine                 Guanine

Then from left to right, the new sequence the RNA is

                           ACUCTTCUGGUCCCAACA
