The cultural assimilation was proposed by George Washington and Henry Knox to Encourage civilizing process because with the help of growing numbers of immigrants from Europe could result in public support which could foster better Education policies and help to raise the country Economy because Education was seen as important machinery which helps in acculturation for minorities.
George Washington and Henry Knox proposed the cultural assimilation to encourage the social and civilizing process amidst the people; this gave room to the people to get to know one another and be hoapitable one to another. The influx of immigrants from Europe was viewed as a potential opportunity to help encourage better education policies which would in turn help increase the nation's economy.
