The French Revolution involved a conflict within segments of the French
society and economy; the American Revolution involved a conflict a
distant imperial power and its colonies.
The primarydifference between the revolutions is the social composition of the revolutionaries. The French revolutionary leaders were men with property and had the stake and ability to lead the society. Even though Sovereignty ruled the British leadership, the colonist still was enjoying the affairs relationship.
In America, the revolution involved military killing. However, this was less compared with the French revolutionary murder. It is because of the reign terror that the French became harsher than the America revolutionaries.
