Why did livy believe that the tiber river and mediterranean sea were beneficial to rome
Soloha48 [4]

Tiber River. The most important river in central Italy. It runs some 400 kilometers through a long valley running from Tuscany through Umbria, Latium, past Rome, to the Tyrannize Sea at Ostia (literally, the “mouths” of the river). The river had a positive as well as negative impact on the development of Rome.

The Mediterranean Sea was important to the Roman Empire in that it was a vital trade link with other parts of the Empire, especially the Middle East and North Africa. ... The Romans referred to it as "their sea" and would not allow competing empires to flourish on it, such as the Greeks and Egyptians.

Which statement is true regarding the colonists prior to the American Revolution?
grandymaker [24]

Answer:

B.   They had no representation in Parliament.

Explanation:

After the French and Indian War, the British Crown increased taxes to pay the enormous debts it had incurred in to win the war with France. This caused much discontent among American colonists; one common complaint of this time was "taxation without representation." The colonists felt they were carrying a too heavy burden without having the right to choose their representatives in the British Parliament or sending envoys. This is a factor leading to the Revolutionary War.

Write a paragraph that explains why you think this right is most important. Any choice of right is correct, but you must use inf
ch4aika [34]
OK so I believe the right to have freedom of religion is the most important because it keeps everyone's beliefs intact even though they may be of a different religion you can still practice it. Freedom of religion keeps you spiritually sound by being able to practice what you believe in where ever and when ever you want. This right is protected by not being able to prohibit the practice of any religion but I believe it is limited because of not the government that created freedom of religion but the people of the United states that shun religions other than Christianity and Catholicism like lets say that someone was to pray to the 5 pillars they are usually criticized for believing in something different and are treated differently like an outsider or sometimes worse.
