Answer:

Option C. In King Arthur's Knights, Sir Mordred and Sir Agravain were motivated to plot against Sir Lancelot as they both wanted the kingdom fro themselves.

Explanation:

Sir Mordred was King Arthur's son and nephew, from an intimate relationship King Arthur had with his step-sister Morgause, when he did not know they were related. In order to prevent his incestuous affair to become public, King Arthur ordered that every kid born on May st, as Mordred was, must be killed. But Mordred survived, and he knew that if he managed to kill King Arthur he would be the lawful heir to the throne. Mordred plans the downfall of King Arthur with the help of Sir Agravain, who was King Arthur's nephew. They both participate in the plot against the king as they both were rightful heirs and wanted the kingdom to themselves and King Arthur out of the picture and the round table.

a). does not make much sense, as we now know most myths to be false and as such they were obviously not used as a form of record of historical events.

b). makes not much sense as it focused instead on the feats of gods and heroes as opposed to speaking of how certain cultures could communicate better.

c). is true along with d). The stories of old mythology continue, day in and day out, to inspire the works of many modern day artists.

d). is probably the best answer of them all. We see this frequently in mythology — in the days of old, thunderstorms were not blamed on the weather but on the rage of Zeus! Earthquakes were not a matter of tectonic plates shifting but of Neptune’s rage splitting the barrier between Earth and Hell!

Leokris [45]

The effect today's readers have on reading science fiction stories is, they are less likely to believe the stories could be true.

Answer: Option A

Explanation:

This is an era of technology and advancement. If we talk about the readers of previous era, they couldn’t really differentiate between the real ones and the unreal ones while reading stories.

But that’s not the case today, and that’s mainly because almost each one of us try to reason everything based on facts and knowledge.

We’ve sources to get to known about the genuineness of particular books and stories. So today when readers read science fiction stories they’re less likely to believe it because fiction stories in itself are not true.
