What were Jim Crow laws?

History

The Jim Crow laws were laws in the 19th century that enforced racial seperation, and they were notoriously unfair towards people with colored skin. These laws forced children to go to different water fountains, schools, bathrooms, and pretty much anything you can think of, all because of the color of their skin. But, people with colored skin normally got the worse of these; schools with less books, bathrooms that were dirtier, and so on. These laws were especially prominent in the southern United States, and they were enforced until 1965.

What are TWO other chores done by the staff to make the White House ready for the incoming President?
dedylja [7]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Although there are no options attached, we can say the following.

The two chores that are done by the staff to make the White House ready for the incoming President are asking for the disposition of furniture in the many rooms of the White House and the special details about the nutrition of the presidential family.

The transition process from the president who is living and the president that is coming is "chaotic" according to workers of the White House. The transition and movement are usually done weeks in advance in normal circumstances, except for this one.

The situation, differences, and rivalry between the president who left and the president who won forced the time and movement ut to last time before the inauguration.
