Niccolo Machiavelli was an Italian philosopher during the medieval times. According to him, a good leader must be respected, have good values, and must have the support of his constituents. He must also be knowledgeable and promote authenticity within his close advisers. I agree with his principles. A good leader should not be feared or loved, but rather respected. He should earn this by treating his followers justly. He must also listen not only to compliments, but also criticism to further improve his leadership.

What if the Cold War never ended? (i’m not too sure what my teacher means by this but i’m assuming it’s how would our world be t
blsea [12.9K]

Answer:

If the Cold War between the two superpowers, America and the Soviet Union, never ended the world would most likely be seeing either a terrible nuclear war or extreme tensions between these two nations. The end of the cold war was considered to be at the signing of the SALT between the U.S and the Soviet Union, there would have never been an agreement to calm down the nuclear tests that eventually settled the threat of nuclear warfare. Because we are much more advanced in nuclear technologies than we were at these times, we would be in serious trouble of ending the world by nuclear warfare. Not only would there be the threat of nuclear warfare but, there would be serious tensions between other third world countries and the two superpowers. Many wars would have been fought for the liberation of these countries from communism and the restoration or application of Democracy. (America fighting for Democracy and The Soviet Union fighting for Communism.)

describing the event or events that are the focus of the film of birth of nation in 195 Describe two events or portrayals in the
Butoxors [25]

Answer:

The Birth of a Nation is an American film directed by D. W. Griffith, released in 1915.  Released exactly 50 years after the end of the Civil War, it tells of the development of this war and Reconstruction in a southernist way. It was discussed by its racist judging speech and its support for the Ku Klux Klan.

The Birth of a Nation tells the story of the American civil war from the perspective of a Northern and a Southern state family, where sympathy lies with the Southern State family. The first half is a dramatic portrayal of the Civil War, while the second half focuses on "the horrors of Reconstruction" where plantation owners are assaulted by black land workers. The plantation owners are portrayed as innocent and the black land workers as treacherous and barbaric. A young Southern state maid escapes from an ex-slave who will either marry her or assault her. Instead of being defiled by the black man, the young girl jumps off a cliff. Her awareness of the Southern Code of Honor compels her to death, which according to the film is glorious and honorable. Her brother subsequently forms the Ku Klux Klan and avenges her death.

The film expresses a racism that, among other things, led to violent riots with the dead and wounded at the first screening. However, this only enhanced the commercial success of the film, which is why it is said to form the basis of the American feature film. The black population of Birth of a Nation is portrayed as primitive criminals, and Republicans are described as unsympathetic collaborators, whereas the Ku Klux Klan is described as the righteous corps of honorable Americans.
