How was the elstad case different from seibert's?

In the Elstad case the court ruled that the suspect’s statement that put him in the act, or admitted guilt was unsolicited. He was taken to the station and Maranda before he gave a second statement. During the questioning of Seibert, five days after the act, the officer questioned her for 30 to 40 minutes obtaining a confession that caused a death in the fire of her trailer. After taking a 20 minute break the officer came back, read the Maranda and obtained a signed waiver. Then got another statement. The District Court suppressed the prewarning statement but admitted the post warning one, and Seibert was convicted of second-degree murder. The Missouri Court of Appeals affirmed, finding the case indistinguishable from Oregon v. Elstad, in which this Court held that a suspect's unwarned inculpatory statement made during a brief exchange at his house did not make a later, fully warned inculpatory statement inadmissible. In reversing, the State Supreme Court held that, because the interrogation was nearly continuous, the second statement, which was clearly the product of the invalid first statement, should be suppressed; and distinguished Elstad on the ground that the warnings had not intentionally been withheld

Aleonysh [2.5K]

The tradition of a woman taking her husband’s last name and children being given their father’s last name are examples of a(n) patriarchal custom.

The definition of tradition is a custom or belief that has been passed down for generations or practiced over and over again or year after year. An example of a tradition is eating turkey on Thanksgiving and decorating a tree on Christmas.

Traditions can be verbal or non-verbal. Nonverbal traditions include traditional crafts (eg, icons, monuments, symbolic objects), places, designs, gestures, postures, customs, and institutions.

Traditions are ideas and beliefs passed down from one generation to the next. These are guidelines, not rules. Each family within a culture may have its own unique traditions while sharing other common traditions.

To describe God as 'omnipotent' is the best way to understand God. Evaluate this statement. In your answer you should: Refer to
melomori [17]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

In the Islam world, it is correct to say "to describe God as 'omnipotent' is the best way to understand God." This is one of the most powerful Muslim teachings.

For Islam, God is the most powerful force in the Universe. In the Muslim concept of God, he also has all the perfect characteristics of a supreme being. He can be considered the king of kings, judge of judges, the beginning and the end, all things expressed in one, and many more powerful concepts.

For Muslim people, God has the power to exert control and dominion over all its creatures, including humans. That is why under Islam, humans are the subjects, faithful followers of his teachings.

This Islam point of view is so respectable and honored, like all other points of view of other major religions as is the case of Judaism, Christianism, Hinduism, or Catholicism.

These other major religions have similar concepts about the power and the presence of God, however, with different names and representations.

In the end, God as a deity has many similarities between religions.

The big question here would be. If that is the case, then why is it that nations make war for religious reasons?
