Answer:

The main objective of both was to create a government.

Explanation:

  • The kaianerekowa or "Great Law of Peace", was transmitted through the oral use of wampum and was a complex system of balances between sexes and tribes, it would take at least a century to be written down by the English. government system based on councils of representatives of the population, considered by some to be the oldest in the world after the Althing of Iceland. It has been used as an example of democracy, constitutionalism and equality between men and women.According to some historians, it inspired American revolutionaries, especially Benjamin Franklin, who in 1736 published a study for the understanding between British and Iroquois, and in 1750 he met closely to the League while participating in peace negotiations, however, others object to the alleged influence as an exaggeration, since the government systems born in the Thirteen Colonies come from the Greco-Roman legacy. Finally, historians such as Howard Zinn argue that it is an example of direct democracy and assembly, and it is known that the Confederation served as the basis for the political-social organization of the Cherokee and ferrets.
  • Mayflower Compact was the first government document in the Plymouth colony. The document was written by the Pilgrim Fathers, immigrants who crossed the Atlantic aboard the Mayflower seeking freedom of worship. It was signed on November 11, 1620 (Julian calendar) on the shores of what is now Provincetown, near Cape Cod. When the Mayflower docked at Plymouth, the pilgrims realized they were in a land unknown to the London company. Therefore, the Mayflower Pact was written and adopted. Many of the passengers knew that the previous settlements had failed because they had not had a government. It is considered by some as the foundation of the Constitution of the United States of America.

They were both intended to create a government for the common good.
The Mayflower Compact was the first governing document written by Pilgrims on their way to the United States from England. This stated that they had the liberty to control their settlement without the King of England's rule, which they opposed to. The Iroquois Constitution was an oral document written on native artifacts, banding together the Iroquois Confederacy. Both were objectives to band groups of people together for the common good and for a good common use of governance.
