Answer: The correct answer for the fill in the blank is B) Through the process of photosynthesis.

Solar energy is the ultimate source of energy for all living organisms. Most of the energy enters the ecosystem by a process called as photosynthesis.

Photosynthesis is a process by which green plants ( autotrophs) prepare their food, which is then used by other living organisms ( heterotrophs). In this process, solar energy is absorbed by the green pigment chlorophyll ( present in the chloroplast of green plants) in the presence of CO₂ and H₂O to form organic substance, which is glucose.

Thus, through the process of photosynthesis, most of the energy enters the ecosystem.

Provided that there's no diagram, most molecules have particular areas on the molecules, called the "active area" that act as a lock to a particular substrate's molecular structure, providing the key.
An enzyme's active area is only able to be "unlocked" by a certain substrate's "key".

What is amino acid?

Proteins are made up of substances called amino acids. Proteins and amino acids are the components of life. Amino acids are the byproducts of the digestion or breakdown of proteins. Amino acids are used by the body to create proteins that aid in the digestion of meals.

Organic substances known as amino acids have both an amino and a carboxyl group. They can be differentiated by the functional group R that is attached. Six of the twenty amino acids that make up proteins have R-groups that are either bases or acids.
