An idea that cross my mind came from some recent news I seen. A train crashes because they were working on a safety switch and they temporarily used manually switching.
Another idea is to write about going to the gym to get fit and making friends with this amazing baker that comes to the same gym and always brings you sweets to try because s/he writes a cook book and wants to know your opinion on the recipes.

His preparations for the Olympic Games had been very thorough. He had been training
Aliun [14]

Your question is missing the instructions and the options. I've found the complete question online. It is as follows:

Read the following sentence, selecting the most appropriate word from the given choices to fill the gap. His preparations for the Olympic Games had been very thorough. He had been training

intrinsically

ostensibly

systematically

predominantly

for months.

Answer:

The best way to complete the sentence is with "systematically".

Explanation:

First, let's see what each adverb means:

intrinsically -- essentially; naturally.

ostensibly -- apparently; seemingly.

systematically -- methodically; completely; detailedly.

predominantly -- mostly; mainly; chiefly.

Now, let's use a little bit of logic. As we all know, an athlete who prepares to compete at the Olympic Games does so completely. He/she trains constantly, absolutely focused, for months, sometimes even years. They have a systematic training, that is, they practice in a methodical, fixed, disciplined manner. Therefore, the best option is "systematically".

- His preparations for the Olympic Games had been very thorough. He had been training systematically for months.

Identify the meter of the following line, and explain your answer. "Happy thoughts come to those with baked goods and fat cats"
Tpy6a [65]
The line "Happy thoughts come to those with baked goods and fat cats." means that the reasons behind having happy thoughts include baked goods and fat cats. Maybe the person who said this loves cats and cookies, cakes, and pastries.

Umnica [9.8K]
The similarity about a stage and a film interpretation of the above scene is VIEWERS WOULD HAVE TO INFER THE EMOTIONS AND MOTIVATIONS OF BEN AND REGINA.

They do not need to envision the physical description of Ben and Regina nor do they have to imagine the props being used as well as the movements being done because they can actually see the actors and the setting. They need to look beyond the physical appearances of the characters and determine the emotions of the characters by listening to the inflections of their voices as they speak as well as try to look to telling actions that is in direct contrast to the staged scenario.

Read the following excerpt from Little Women
xeze [42]

Answer:

I think it would be hard to be Jo since she is not able to pursue her own dreams

Explanation:

I've read the book, and it sucks to be Jo. Gender expectations in the 1860's were super strict, and Jo just wanted to be free and live life as she wanted to live it.
