In 300 words or less explain which type of conflict dominates the most dangerous game and why
Bezzdna [24]

Answer:

"The Most Dangerous Game"is a 1924 short story written by Richard Connell. It is essentially a story about a big-game hunter who is forced to swim to an isolated island in the Caribbean, upon falling off a yacht.

The main conflict of the story is that between two men - two hunters. At the very beginning of the story, Rainsford (the protagonist) mentions that there are two classes of people in the world: the hunter and the huntee. Later on, Rainsford arrives on the island and meets a sociopath, Zaroff, who likes to play a rather peculiar game - he hunts other people out of boredom. Rainsford, although he sees no point in this game, is forced to play it and becomes "the huntee" in his own terms. This game, instead of being entertaining, becomes a dangerous fight for life between the two men.

FOR BIOLOGY I MADE A MISTAKE
lord [1]

Answer:

A-The cell was submerged in a hypertonic solution.

Explanation:

A hypertonic solution is a solution with higher concentration of solute or dissolved particle than that of its surrounding.

When normal cells and animal cells are submerged in a hypertonic solution, the cell loses water to its surrounding, thereby shrinking.

The statement which best explains what occurred to the Elodea cell when submerged in a solution, is:

"A-The cell was submerged in a hypertonic solution."

This explains why the cytoplasm of Elodea became shrunk as it pulls away from the cell wall, thereby clumping together at the center of the cell.

Which passage uses MLA in-text citation properly?
vovikov84 [41]
It's the style most commonly used in writing papers. In in-text citations from sources like books, magazines, or journal articles, provide the author's last name and page number. When you provide phrase in the sentence, no need to include it in parenthetical citation.
