A pro football team has 36,000 season ticket holders. Then the team wins the championship and the number of season ticket holder
hoa [83]
Given:
36,000 season ticket holders (base number)
  9,000 increase in season ticket holders.

9,000 / 36,000 = 0.25
0.25 * 100% = 25%

The percentage change is an increase of 25%.

36,000 + 9,000 = 45,000 new number of season ticket holders.

Answer:

Expectation is equal to 4.75

Variance is equal to 3.02

Step-by-step explanation:

Consider the attached image.

Let x_i denotes each of the outcome.

Expectation =E(X) = ∑x_if(x_i)

=1(\frac{1}{12}) +2(\frac{1}{12}) +3(\frac{1}{12}) +4(\frac{1}{12}) +5(\frac{1}{12}) +6(\frac{7}{12})

=\frac{1}{12}+\frac{2}{12}+\frac{3}{12}+\frac{4}{12}+\frac{5}{12}+\frac{42}{12}\\\\=\frac{57}{12}\\\\=4.75

E(X^2)= ∑ x_i^2f(x_i)

=1^2(\frac{1}{12}) +2^2(\frac{1}{12}) +3^2(\frac{1}{12}) +4^2(\frac{1}{12}) +5^2(\frac{1}{12}) +6^2(\frac{7}{12})

=(\frac{1}{12}) +4(\frac{1}{12}) +9(\frac{1}{12}) +16(\frac{1}{12}) +25(\frac{1}{12}) +36(\frac{7}{12})\\\\=\frac{307}{12}

Variance  =E(X^2)-[E(X)]^2

=(\frac{307}{12})-(\frac{57}{12})^2\\\\  =\frac{307}{12}-\frac{3249}{144}\\\\  =\frac{3684-3249}{144}\\\\ =\frac{435}{144}\\\\ =3.02

What would be the answer?
jeyben [28]
Sure, let me help you!

As you can see, both triangles are similar; however, STR is bigger.

We need to find a ratio of a side we know for both triangles to determine length of TR.

The best optimal side to pick would be IH, and TS.

IH = 4
TS = 10

10/4 = 2.5
Now, that we know the ratio, we can just multiply (10/4) or 2.5 by whatever side we want to know.

IJ (which is TR in STR) is 6.

6*2.5 = 15

Answer: TR is 15 units.

Answer the question to become the brainliest
Sloan [31]

Answer:

y = - 2x + 9

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation of a line in slope- intercept form is

y = mx + c ( m is the slope and c the y- intercept )

Here m = - 2, then

y = - 2x + c ← is the partial equation

To find c substitute (1, 7) into the partial equation

7 = - 2 + c ⇒ c = 7 + 2 = 9

y = - 2x + 9 ← equation of line
