- If dropped, you can lose your journal to water, a cliff, etc.
- Pages might come out easily
- Could be hard to constantly carry around with you
- Handwriting things might not be your area of expertise
<em><u>Online journal pros:</u></em>
- When using a USB, it is easy to carry on a keychain and plug in anywhere
- Typing could be easier to do than handwriting
- When using a journal app, the app could have shortcuts or easy perks
- Don't need to worry about people reading your journal notes if the app, computer, or website you are using has a passcode
<em><u>Online journal cons:</u></em>
- Dropping your iPhone, iPod, iPad, computer, etc. could cause you to lose your saved data
- If using a USB drive, you could drop it easily
- An app or website might cause money in order to get full use (of a journal app)
Look at the pros and cons of both subjects, then compare them. Both are different in many ways. Technology vs. old fashioned paper. Depending on who you are, you might prefer one over the other. Technology might be easy to use, while a hand journal not so much. Or...the other way around. Paper might get wet, a computer could break.
