Answer:

LMWH is associated with less thrombocytopenia than standard heparin. It requires less subcutaneous dosing when compared to heparin

Explanation:

Low-molecular-weight heparin is a type of the anticoagulant medications.

They are used in prevention of the blood clots and the treatment of the venous thromboembolism as well as in treatment of the myocardial infarction.

The difference between Heparin and LMWH is shown below.

 • The average molecular weight of the heparin is about 15 kDa and that of LMWH is about 4.5 kDa.
 • LMWH requires less and frequent subcutaneous dosing as compared to heparin for the postoperative prophylaxis of the venous thromboembolism.
 • LMWH requires no need for the monitoring of APTT coagulation parameter which is required for the high dose heparin.

All of the following are considered unprofessional conduct EXCEPT:
kondor19780726 [428]

The correct answer would be option B, Giving aid to a drowning victim.

All of the given statements are considered unprofessional except giving aid to a drowning victim.

Explanation:

When something is below some standards in a professional environment or scenarios, this is called 'unprofessional'.

Conviction of a felony, practicing medicine without a license and physical abuse of a patient, all are considered unprofessional acts, but if a person is drowning, dying due to inhalation of water, and you help him in this condition and take him to the surface, then this would not be considered an act of unprofessionalism.

Saving a person's life is always a priority for every other human being, and when a person gives aid to a drowning person, it won't be considered unprofessional, rather it should be appreciated.

Just because you have a risk factor for a disease It does not mean you will get that disease
Hitman42 [59]
True. Just because u have risk factors doesn’t mean your 100% gonna get that disease. It does mean though that you will be at a way higher risk for that disease then other people are so you will have a higher chance.
