That's the same as 1.024 ÷ 10⁴

Each time we divide by 10 we move the decimal point one place to the left.  If we have to we add zeros at the front.

1.024 ÷ 10⁴ = 0.1024 ÷ 10³ = 0.01024 ÷ 10² = 0.001024 ÷ 10 = 0.0001024

Answer: 0.0001024
