scoundrel [369]

The baby Boomer generation was the first to broaden definitions of family to include domestic partnerships, unmarried women with children, and cohabiting couples.

Spending extra time together and comfort were the maximum strongly endorsed reasons. The degree to which people suggested cohabiting to check their relationships became related to extra poor couple communication and extra physical aggression as well as lower relationship adjustment, confidence, and willpower.

couples cohabiting in advance than marriage and specifically before an engagement or an otherwise smooth commitment will be inclined to be an awful lot much less glad with their marriages and more likely to divorce than couples who do not. those bad consequences are called the cohabitation impact
