The Manchu are an ethnic minority of China, traditionally located in Manchuria (northeastern China). The Manchu were a very successful people, and among their accomplishments was the establishment of two Chinese dynasties: the Later Jin and the Qing dynasty. Moreover, the Manchurians are descended from the Jurchen people who previously established the Jin dynasty in China.
