This usually comes from the folklore tradition and incorporates not only various themes, but also various instruments. For example, a Scottish national composition would surely include bagpipes as an instrument since it's traditionally associated with the area.

It would be b, "they believed in an afterlife in which the preservation of the body was important." Rulers back in Egypt would be buried with many precious items because they believed those items would travel with them into the afterlife. Also, I believe this question would be better in history? But I guess it technically counts towards art.
