Labor is one of the factors of production used by all the productive spheres of an economy and its demand depends on the type of production activity.

Some activities are labor-intensive and others are more intensive in inputs and technology. However, in all activities there is a combination of human capital and inputs that is used. This combination, when it reaches the maximum, exhausts at least one of the factors of production, and we say that the economy is close to potential GDP.

Potential GDP is a concept where the production of a country operates to the maximum, that is, producing at the limit of its installed capacity. In this way, low unemployment rates mean economic warming and high production, that is, the country is growing.

According to brutus, which form of government (a large national republic or a confederation of small republics) is more likely t
poizon [28]

According to brutus, A confederation of small republics is more likely to preserve and protect personal liberties, because as the people are the sovereign, and their sentiments are communicated by themselves which is why it must be limited so that the people can conveniently assemble and debate.

  • The large republics could cancel out the voices of the people and states and the authority of the states, because they are bigger in size and could gain more power and could infringe on state sovereignty, which would infringe on the peoples' liberties

Brutus favors a true confederation, which would be: a number of independent states entering , for conducting certain general concerns, in which they have a common interest, leaving the management of their internal and local affairs to go and their separate governments.

Rufina [12.5K]

Answer is give below

Explanation:

  • Due to limited land availability in South America, the South American people had to deforest the land to make more space. It promoted limited economic growth after the Second World War when South American countries took advantage of the tropical climate to grow fruits and other foods grown only in their region.
  • For example, Brazil has a coffee-based economy. This means that South American countries have not been able to develop as economically as the US has done for a long time.
