Systolic is the number on the top. It is the pressure caused by your heart contracting and pushing blood out.

The top number is the systolic blood pressure which is the pressure caused by your heart contracting and pushing out blood. The second number called diastolic blood pressure which is the pressure when you heart relaxes and fills with blood.
