How did the crusades change the economy of Europe

Europeans were introduced to new commodities and luxuries through trade as a result of the Crusades. The Crusades also led to a money-based system of exchange.

In addition to the fighting that went on as the main "business" of the Crusades, there was also plenty of economic business that happened too. Various goods were brought back to Europe from the regions in the Middle East where the Crusaders traveled. Food items (such as coffee and rice) and other items (such as carpets and compasses) were obtained by Europeans from Muslim traders. Trade networks were established, and a regulated currency system was developed to facilitate fair trade between Europe and the Middle East.

When a country gifts some of its land to other country, it is generally not a quiet surrender.

Explanation:

When the government of the country gifts land to some other countries as a result of some privileges or some return of favor, it is not necessarily a surrender done by the country to other country. It might be a gift of real estate to that country.

It is known as the and grant where land is granted to that country. They are given to individuals or the countries to develop the land which is unused especially in the underpopulated countries.
