Ted is suffering from what we call an anterograde amnesia due to post-traumatic injury. Studies have shown that this is caused by two parts of the brain, medial temporal lobe, and medial diencephalon. Patients with anterograde amnesia have a neural loss, thus, medical intervention with medicines is not recommended. Proper knowledge on patients condition will help them cope with this disease.
