One of the least correct ways of naming the periods of history has been by naming the periods after the material that people used for their tools or weapons: such as, The Stone Age, The Bronze Age, The Iron Age and The Atomic Age. A real problem with naming them this way is that not all civilizations progressed at the same rate; therefore, some civilizations were in the atomic age while others were still in the stone age.

At witch battle did the Americans and French surrounded the British forcing them to surrender
klemol [59]
The last British Army in the area was led by General Cornwallis. The army retreated to the town of Yorktown. But then they were attacked. The British tried to escape by sea but the recently allied French had their navy blocking the British ships from escaping. While the French were blocking their escape by sea, the combined army of the Colonist and the French attacked by land. With no hope of escape or reinforcements, the British surrendered. This marked the last battle of the Revolutionary War.
