Can someone please explain the Double Object Pronoun rules, when to use them and how?

If you have both of the direct object pronoun and an indirect object pronoun , and it is in the same sentence, the indirect object pronoun will come  first.
When both of them begin with the letter "L" change the first pronoun letter to "s"...
e.g. Le la= Se La ; les los= se los (and this is to avoid the tongue twister effect)

in a negative sentence, the negative comes before the first pronoun (e.g. no se la)

If sentences have two verbs, you have two options, depending on the pronoun.
place immediately before the conjugated verb and then attach the infinitive.

Last week I felt sick.

2. A mi hermano le dolió la cabeza ayer.

My brother had a headache yesterday.

Explanation:

The preterite tense is the past tense. It refers to past finished actions. All of these examples have an adverb that place the action in the exact time in the past: <em>la semana pasada, ayer, el mes pasado, el fin de semana pasado.</em>

DOLER

This verb is used in the third person plural or singular.

Me duelen los ojos.

My eyes hurt.

Me duele la herida.

My wound hurts.
