At the beginning of the story “Marriage is a Private Affair” the tension exists between the young couples, Nnaemeka and Nene when:

Nnaemeka doesn’t show Nene his father’s letter announcing that he’s found a wife for Nnaemeka.

When Nene asks Nnaemeka that when he'll tell his father about their relationship, Nnaemeka tells Nene about the objections that his father is most likely to put in their marriage. He didn't want to disclose his father's letter in which he wrote about the girl whom he had chosen for Nnaemeka to get married.

Lines 34–39: Of all the details given about Abigail in these lines,
mestny [16]

Answer:

Abigail is described as “a strikingly beautiful girl, an orphan, with an endless capacity for dissembling.” I think Parris and the reader should not believe in her because she denied the facts that she was dancing inthe forest even though her uncle saw her dancing. So, she does not seem worthy.

Why did poets in the 1800's, like Walt Whitman, choose to write poetry using Free Verse?
Lilit [14]

Answer:

His poetic form had to be able to channel what he saw as the poetry inherent in all the infinite activities of life. It's little wonder, then, that he found it necessary to invent a poetic form—free verse—that could give him the freedom to achieve those ends.
