Use the integral test to determine whether the infinite series is convergent. ∑n=1∞n−13 fill in the corresponding integrand and

the value of the improper integral. enter inf for ∞, -inf for −∞, and dne if the limit does not exist. compare with ∫∞1 dx = by the integral test, the infinite series ∑n=1∞n−13

Looks like the series is

\displaystyle\sum_{n=1}^\infty n^{-13}

We have

\displaystyle\sum_{n=1}^\infty\frac1{n^{13}}
\displaystyle=-\frac1{12x^{12}}\bigg|_{x=1}^{x\to\infty}
\displaystyle=-\frac1{12}\left(\lim_{x\to\infty}\frac1{x^{12}}-1\right)=\frac1{12}

Therefore the sum converges, since its value is smaller than \dfrac1{12}.

Will mark as brainliest
faust18 [17]

Answer:

127.41

Step-by-step explanation:

side KJ equals 17 which corresponds to side NM which equals 57. These two triangles are similar which means the bigger triangle will be the smaller triangle but enlarged. So 57 divided by 17 equals 3.353 and then you do the same with the other side but multiplication; 38 times 3.353 equals 127.41. :)

BRAINLIEST can someone please help!!!!!
Zielflug [23.3K]

I don't know about the first one but for the second one:

{2}^{3x + 2}  -  {2}^{3x}  = 48 \\ \Leftrightarrow {2}^{3x}  {2}^{2}  -  {2}^{3x}  = 48 \\ \Leftrightarrow  {2}^{3x} ( 4  - 1) = 48 \\ \Leftrightarrow 3 \times  {2}^{3x}  = 48 \\ \Leftrightarrow  {2}^{3x}  = 16 \\ \Leftrightarrow  {2}^{3x}  =  {2}^{4}  \\ \Leftrightarrow 3x = 4\Leftrightarrow x =  \frac{4}{3}
