If renting a red-box movie costs 1.29 per night and one fee of 0.50

For three nights it would be 5.37 because you add 1.29 and 0.50 because its a one time fee then multiply the sum by 3 since you have the movie for 3 nights

Now for 10 nights you do the same add 1.29 and 0.50 then multiply by 10 which gives you 17.90

So 3 nights will cost $5.37
And 10 nights will cost $17.90

You want to multiply $1.29 and 3 to find the cost of three movies.
1.29 x 3 = 3.87. now add that to 0.50
3.87 +0.50 = 4.37
$4.37 for 3 movies
Now do the same thing but this time multiply by 10...
1.29 x 10 = 12.90. add that to 0.50.
12.90 +0.50 = 13.40
$13.40 for 10 movies
hope this helps

Help anyone? please?

Answer:

x=11.2

Step-by-step explanation:

Set up a proportion:

x+11/36 = 37/60

Cross multiply:

1332=60(x+11)

Distribute:

1332=60x+660

Subtract 660 from 1332

672=60x

Divide:

x=11.2

I'm not sure if this is the correct answer but I hope this helps! :)

If the length of AO is double the length of CO, the length of BO is?
andreev551 [17]

BO is double that of DO. In other words, BO is two times longer than DO. The answer is choice B

For example, if DO were 3 units long, then BO would be 6 units long (2*3 = 6). This works because the triangles DCO and BAO are similar triangles. The corresponding sides are in the same ratio or proportion to one another. The larger triangle (BAO) has sides that are twice as long as the smaller triangle's (DCO) corresponding sides.

Side note: we can prove the triangles to be similar using the AA (angle angle) similarity theorem. The first pair of angles are the vertical angles DOC and BOA which are congruent to each other.The second pair is CDB and ABD which are congruent by the alternate interior angle theorem.
