The answers are LIVER and LIPIDS.

Bile is produced in liver. They're stored in Gall bladder and is released when needed. Their main function is to emulsify lipids into smaller oil droplets. This is a physical digestion. This process can increase the surface area of the lipids so that it can be chemically digested by enzyme lipase later easier. The larger the surface area gets, the more enzyme can digest them at the same time.

For the first time in five years California authorities have issued a first stage smog alert, warning people in some areas of un
Ghella [55]

One reasonable plan would be to wear a face mask or surgical mask. Take note that your surgical mask contains two sides – the white side and the blue side. Since the main purpose of your mask usage is to prevent yourself from inhaling too much bad air, the blue side of the mask should be the one touching your skin. This is because the white side of your mask helps you prevent from coming in contact with toxins that may come from the smog.

Three different alleles (c1, c2, and c3) at the c locus exist in a hypothetical population of juniper trees. If the frequency of
prisoha [69]

Answer:

d

Explanation:

When considering the frequency of the potential alleles of a gene in a population, the total must add up to 1. Think of it like percentages. an allele frequency of 0.3 means 30% of the population carry it (out of a possible 100%).

We know that the frequency of c1 is 0.3. Lets take each option and see if it can be true

a) cannot be less than 0.3. - false. It could be less than 0.3. For example, it could be 0.1, meaning the frequency of allele c3 would be 0.6 (because 0.3 + 0.1 + 0.6 = 1)

b) cannot be greater than 0.3. - false. It could be greater than 0.3. For example, it could be 0.5, meaning the frequency of allele c3 would have to be 0.2 (because 0.3 + 0.5 + 0.2 = 1)

c) is 0.7. - false. It can't be 0.7, because that would mean that the frequency of c3 is 0. (0.7 + 0.3 = 1)

d) cannot be greater than 0.7. - true. It cannot be greater than 0.7, because that would mean that the frequency of c3 is 0. (0.7 + 0.3 = 1)

There are different types of nerves or mechanoreceptors located in your skin. Nerves that detect deep pressure are called _____.
UNO [17]

Nerves that detect deep pressure are called Pacinian corpuscles.

Pacinian corpuscles are microscopic onion-shaped nerve structures that are situated in the dermis and hypodermis. Pacinian corpuscles detect deep pressure and vibration. This nerve has a myelinated nerve ending in the middle of its structure and the external layer contains flattened cells, a lymph-like fluid and collagen fibers. The structure of pacinian corpuscles provides a fast response and rapid recovery by transmitting fast events. This make them sensitive to pressure and vibration.
