C seems like the answer because at the end of South America, there's nothing blocking the two oceans there from connecting. All of the oceans are connected together. They're just different because of where they are and the conditions of that area of earth.

I dont' think water flows under the continents either so D doesn't sound right at all. A is just beyond logical because there's no way that has anything to do with how the oceans are connected to each other. B MAY be the answer but I'm leaning more towards C.

Answer: The correct option is C. Earth’s oceans are connected indicates that Water can flow through all five oceans without having to cross a barrier.

Explanation:

Oceans is said to cover around 70% of earths surface and aorudn 97% of earhts water source is found in ocean and seas. The world ocean is interconnected system of earth oceanic waters.

It comprises of bulk of hydrosphere. The main oceans are Pacific, Atlantic, Indian ocean, Artic,Southern or Antartica. All these waters are connected without having to cross any land masses.

On the basis of the above explanation is:

Earth’s oceans are connected indicates that Water can flow through all five oceans without having to cross a barrier.

Duchene muscular dystrophy, or DMD, is a recessive, x-linked disease. What would you expect to see in the offspring of a woman w
Harman [31]

It is expected to see in the offspring of a woman who has DMD and a man who does not have the disease that all of their sons and none of their daughters will have the disease

Option A.

Explanation:

Duchene muscular dystrophy, also known as DMD is a recessive, x-linked disease. It occurs when there is a mutation in the dystrophin gene. This mutation further affects the muscles of the body leading it to degenerate and ultimately death.

When a woman with DMD and a man without DMD have an offspring, their daughters and the sons will get the mutated gene signature from the mother as she is the carrier. But since the father has normal genes, the daughters will become the carriers and will not be afflicted by it. This is because the normal X chromosome from the father will be passed on to them. The sons on the other hand will have the disease as they will get one of their mother's X chromosome which would be carrying the mutated gene.

The major role meiosis plays in chromosomal inheritance is to
andrezito [222]

Answer:

Doubles the amount of DNA and reduces the chromosome number from 2N to N.

Explanation:

Meiosis is a cell division in which one cell divides into 2 cells in the first meiotic division and then these two cells divide into two more cells so overall 4 cells are produced from one cell. This division occurs in gamete cells.

First, the amount of DNA gets double by converting the single-stranded DNA into double-stranded DNA. Then the homologous chromosomes get separated into two different cells in the first meiotic division and till now the chromosome number is 2N.

After the second meiotic division, each sister chromatids of a chromosome gets separated into separate cells and the chromosome number in daughter cells becomes 1 N. So the major role of meiosis is to double the DNA mount and reduce the chromosome number by half in all daughter cells.
