What is lipophilicity

Jet001 [13]

Tbh, I don't know what it means, but Google does

GOOGLE: Lipophilicity, refers to the ability of a chemical compound to dissolve in fats, oils, lipids, and non-polar solvents such as hexane or toluene. Such non-polar solvents are themselves lipophilic, and the axiom that "like dissolves like" generally holds true

MORE GOOGLE: Lipophilicity is defined as the affinity of a drug for a lipid environment. ... Lipophilicity can be measured by the distribution of a drug between the organic phase, which is generally n-octanol pre-saturated with water, and the aqueous phase, which is generally water pre-saturated with n-octanol

I hope this helps! Good luck!

Third person is when the speaker is outside of the story and not giving directions to someone. In this sentence, the speaker is telling explaining how exercise promotes a healthy lifestyle. The speaker does not use and first or second person pronouns.

Looking at the pronouns can help you identify first, second, and third person.
First-person pronouns are: I, me, my, myself.
Second-person pronouns are: You, your, yourself (Most often second person is used for instructional manuals. Think cookbooks and car repair guides.)
Third-person pronouns: He, She, It, They

Keep in mind that We is a pronoun that combines I and You. Thus eliminating the last option.

Why didn't atticus didn't take a gun with him to protect tom robinson from the mob?
Gemiola [76]

Answer:

Atticus says this because if he hadn't have taken the case, he would've been a hypocrite. He knew that Tom had a right to a fair trial, and if he had swayed to public opinion and neglected to give him one, he would've been going against his belief in justice.
