The Manhatten project was the effort by the United States government to develop the first atomic bomb during the second world war, starting in 1942. The project involved the efforts of many famous physicists, notably Oppenheimer, Einstein, and Feynman and took place at the government research centre in Los Alamos, New Mexico.
The project was ultimately successful in 1945, and resulted in the creation of the first two deployed nuclear weapons: Fat Man and Little Boy.
Assistance on the project was provided by the governments of Canada and the United Kingdom.

Who led rebels in Haiti to win independence from France

Toussaint  Louverture led the Haiti rebels to win the independence from the France. He was one of the best leader in the Haitian revolution. He was first with the frech against the Spain and great Britain, but after than he start the Haitian revolution and got freedom from the french.
