We should stand up because no one deserves to be bothered by another human being. Bullying is one of the main causes of kids ages 11-17 killing themselves. It could also prevent school shootings. By ending it everyone in this world shouldn't have to worry about waking up going to school frightened or anxious. Do you know how many kids internationally and worldwide miss their school work because of bullying? Bullies are just putting pressure on kids lives. They probably have it worse at home or somewhere else. I'm 100% sure everyone should stand up.

In the beginning, the narrator feels alone and apart from his new neighbors. Laughing with the other boys over his language mistake breaks down the barrier between him and the others. Once they laugh together, he becomes comfortable being a part of the team. He starts to feel more accepted and hopeful about fitting in as an American.
