Answer:

Minimum - 46.4

First quartile - 48.8

Third quartile - 53.2

Median - 50.4

Maximum - 55.9

Step-by-step explanation:

If you write all the numbers down on a piece of paper and start crossing out from the beginning and end Ex. cross out 46.4 and 55.9 until you get to the middle (median) thats how you figure the median out. Continue to do that until you find the first quartile, and last quartile. The maximum and minimum are easy to find those are the biggest and smallest number in the group. To find the first and last quartile, you would do the same thing to find the median just do it from the median and go to the beginning or the end depending on which one you find first. Hope this helps! I learned how to do the crossing things from my old school :)

Veronica traveled 562 miles to Venice, Florida. She drove 85 miles every day. On the last day of her trip, she only drove 52 mil
nikklg [1K]

Answer:

562 = 85x +52

x is the number of days

Veronica traveled for 7 days

Step-by-step explanation:

562 = 85x + 52

510 = 85x Subtract 52 on both sides

6 = x Divide by 85 to isolate x

Even though Veronica only had to drive 52 miles on the last day of her trip, it still counts as a day of driving. Hence, she traveled 7 days in total.

When 4(0.5x+2.5y-0.7x-1.3y+4) is simplified, what is the resulting expression?
padilas [110]

Answer:

-0.8x + 4.8y + 16

Step-by-step explanation:

4(0.5x+2.5y-0.7x-1.3y+4) = 4( 0.5x - 0.7x  + 2.5y - 1.3y + 4)

= 4( -0.2x  + 1.2y + 4)

= 4*(-0.2x)  + 4 *1.2y + 4*4

= -0.8x + 4.8y + 16
