I think they saw nature in a spiritual way as the collective "Over-soul" of all the souls that create and reside in every form in creation. That means that very soul is one with and is the Over-soul, which some call God, but Dickinson and Whitman may have thought that word had to much connections to organized religion which has a different definition than they had.
The resolution to the story's conflict is that:

In the story, “It's Our World, Too!: Young People Who Are Making a Difference,” racism is at the heart of the problem. The purpose of writing the story was that he wanted to tell the readers about the ways the young people are working to bring change in the world. The story encourages the readers to act on their thoughts and beliefs. Though Net as not supported by his coach and others, still he decided to take his stand.
The key to staying motivated is to think positive and focus on the good things.set a goal that you want to accomplish.
