In balanced forces, the two individual forces act in opposite direction. Conversely, in unbalanced forces, the individual forces either act in same or opposite direction And it affects it because Balanced Forces acting on an object will not change the object's motion. Unbalanced Forces acting on an object will change the change the object's motion.
