The answer is A) y = -1/5x + 1

In order to find this you must first find the slope of the line. To do so, use the slope formula below.

m = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)

In which the slope is m, the first point would be (x1, y1) and the second point would be (x2, y2). So we take the known information and we plug it in.

m = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)

m = (-1 - 2)/(10 - -5)

m = -3/15

m = -1/5

Now that we have this, we can use the slope and either point to find the y-intercept (b).

y = mx + b

-1 = -1/5(10) + b

-1 = -2 + b

1 = b

Now that we have the slope and intercept, use both to write the equation.

y = -1/5x + 1

The circumference of a circle is 274.37 m. what is the approximate area of the circle? use 3.14 for pi. use pencil and paper. e
Inessa [10]
The circumference of a circle can be found by applying the formula 3.14*diameter. To find the area of a circle requires you to use the equation 3.14 * r^2. A change in diameter will affect the circumference. The approximate diameter of the circle 87.14 meters. This means the equation is 1854.7749*3.14, making the approximate area of the circle 5823.99319 m^2. ROund if you need to.

Video games sold: x Revenue function: R(x) = 60x Cost function: C(x) = 12 + 7x Profit function: P(x) = What is the profit earned
nataly862011 [7]

Answer:

Profit P(x) = 53x-12 and On selling 20 video games profit will be 1048.

Step-by-step explanation:

In the given question functions are Revenue function : R(x) = 60x and Cost function : C(x) = 12+7x  for the sale of x video games

As we know profit = sale price - cost price

Therefore P(x) = R(x) - C(x)

Or P(x) = (R-C)x = 60x - (12+7x)

P(x) = 60x -12 - 7x

P(x) = 53x -12

Now the profit on selling 20 video games will be

P(20) = 53×20 -12 = 1060 -12 = 1048.
