Answer:

It was a dark and stormy night. The clouds are all dark and droopy. Nothing fun to do. I sit in my black chair, slouching in sadness as I wait untill this storm is over. It was dark in the morning, and dark at night. I go to bed, in a dark dream, waiting for the sun.

Doss [256]

Answer:

The correct answer is b. In any crowd, people have many different motivations.

Explanation:

A crwod is a group of people, not necessarily a big group of people who are gathered, These people are different, they can come from different parts, they can different characertisitics, but the most important about the crowds id that the citizens or people who are part of the crowd do not lose their individuality. For that reason in this example where some people are listening and some other are arguing, we can see although they are part of the same crowd, each one of them has different motivations and they have not lost their individuality.

Mr. Bedford Meets Mr. Cavor at Lympne

As I sit down to write here amidst the shadows of vine-leaves under the blue sky of southern Italy, it comes to me with a certain quality of astonishment that my participation in these amazing adventures of Mr. Cavor was, after all, the outcome of the purest accident. It might have been any one. I fell into these things at a time when I thought myself removed from the slightest possibility of disturbing experiences. I had gone to Lympne because I had imagined it the most uneventful place in the world. “Here, at any rate,” said I, “I shall find peace and a chance to work!”

Which reasons support the claim that investing in access to clean water is vital to our future? Check all that apply
Tanzania [10]

Answer:

b. Access to water is essential to the global food supply.

d. Water access affects how communities develop and thrive.

e. Water contributes to the economic security of a country.

Explanation:

Access to clean water is needed if we are to keep farming. If we do not invest in clean water, we run the risk of being unable to water our plants which will lead us to starvation.

Water also affects the development of communities for instance, the Egyptian and Mesopotamian civilizations would not have been possible without water.

Water also contributes to the economic security of a country because countries need water for a lot of processes in production. This is why Egypt and Ethiopia are currently at loggerheads.
