According to George Washington Plunkitt, what makes an "honest graft" different from a "dishonest graft"? An honest graft gives

back to the poor. An honest graft tries to get as much money as possible to give to immigrants. An honest graft not only thinks of the recipient but of his city and his political party. An honest graft doesn't lie in order to obtain money.

The correct answer should be An honest graft not only thinks of the recipient but of his city and his political party

A dishonest one only looks out for their own self-interest, while an honest one finds a way for them to benefit, for the society to benefit, and at the same time for the political party to benefit. The three are connected because all three benefit at the same time.

2
How was segregation enforced in the North?
Karo-lina-s [1.5K]

Answer:

It was less prominent in the North than in the South, but it definitely still existed.

Explanation:

Segregation was never enforced by law in the North, however a handful of private companies refused service to people of color, and schools either had mostly Black pupils or mostly white pupils.

Do you believe William the Conqueror had a large impact on Europe? Explain.
Allisa [31]
Between 1066 and 1071 CE, William the Conqueror (r. 1066-1087 CE) led the Norman conquest of England, which lasted five years. The Normans were here to stay thanks to hard-fought wars, castle construction, land redistribution, and scorched-earth tactics. The Norman elite replaced the Anglo-Saxon elite and took over the country's territories, and the Church was restructured as a result of the conquest.
