The answer for the above question is Valvular prolapse. It is the normal protrusion of the heart valve, that results in the inability of the valve to close completely. The valve function to prevent the back flow of blood, in this condition the valves do not close smoothly or evenly, but instead bulge upward into the left atrium. Due to the condition some blood may flow backward through the mitral valve with each heart beat.
