A girl of normal stature is born to two parents with achondroplasia who have very short stature, especially disproportionately s
Tcecarenko [31]
Answer: 100% (4/4)
Explanation: Since the woman’s trait is dominant it will mask the normal stature in all their offspring. For example, A = achondroplasia trait, a = normal stature. It is very possible that the woman carries the trait and her offspring who may not possess it can pass it on to their offspring

For taking bath, water at 40⁰C is required. Calculate the mass of cold water at 15⁰C which is to be added in 60 Kg water at 100⁰
MrRa [10]

Answer:

Energy added to cold water, E1

E1 = m•Cp•ΔT = 6 x 4.187x(42-20) = 6x4.187x22

Energy lost by hot water, E2:

E2 = X(CpΔT) = X x 4.187 x (75-42) =X x 4.187 x 33

So, since E1 = E2

6x4.187x22 = X x 4.187 x 33

X = 6x22/33 = 4.0kg

So the mass of the hot water added to the 6kg of cold water is 4.0kg

How does the heart muscle differ from the muscle in your arm?
Diano4ka-milaya [45]

Answer:

While skeletal muscles are arranged in regular, parallel bundles, cardiac muscle connects at branching, irregular angles, called intercalated discs. Striated muscle contracts and relaxes in short, intense bursts, whereas smooth muscle sustains longer or even near-permanent contractions.
