Plato was a Greek philosopher. He was the disciple of another great philosopher, Socrates. After Socrates' execution and because he left no writings, Plato wrote works in form of dialogues praising his teacher, he included Socrates as one of his characters on his dialogues, and talked about the injustice of his execution in his work named Apology of Socrates.
