For the fraction you start off by putting 80 over 100 and start simplifying which gives you 4/5 as for a mixed number or a whole number it isn't possible since it isn't a total whole. In order for you to have a mixed number you need something over a whole or something over a 100%

A percent can be viewed as a fraction over 100, so in this case, we form the fraction 80/100.

However, this is not in simplest form. The largest number that goes into both of these (greatest common factor) is 20, so we should divide the numerator and denominator by 20.

When we do this, we can see that the simplest fraction to represent 80% is 4/5.

Will give BRAINLIEST
Lerok [7]

Answer:

x = 20°

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

3x + 80° + 2x = 180° [ being linear pair ]

5x + 80° = 180°

5x = 180° - 80°

5x = 100°

x = 100° / 5

Therefore x = 20°

Hope it will help. :)

Draw a ring around the point which does not lie on the line y = 3x + 2 * 1 point (100, 302) (2, 8) (0, 4) (9, 29)
Blizzard [7]

Answer:

(0,4)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the line equation:

y = 3x + 2

Given the points :

(100, 302)

x = 100 ; y =302

302 = 3(100) + 2

302 = 300 + 2

(2, 8)

8 = 3(2) + 2

8 = 6 + 2

(0, 4)

4 = 3(0) + 2

4 ≠ 2

(9,29)

29 = 3(9) + 2

29 = 17 + 2

Jack's family spent $16,848 for one years home rental. What is the average amount that Jack's family spent per month?
lyudmila [28]

A year is divided into <u>12 months.</u>

Jack' family spent <u> $16,848</u> for one years's home rental.

16 848 ÷ 12 = 1404 ≈ 1400 → so the correct answer is<u> A. </u>

Solve the equation for principal values of x. Express solutions in degrees.
Hitman42 [59]

Option C:

x = 90°

Solution:

Given equation:

\sin x=1+\cos ^{2} x

<u>To find the degree:</u>

\sin x=1+\cos ^{2} x

Subtract 1 + cos²x from both sides.

\sin x-1-\cos ^{2} x=0

Using the trigonometric identity:\cos ^{2}(x)=1-\sin ^{2}(x)

\sin x-1-\left(1-\sin ^{2}x\right)=0

\sin x-1-1+\sin ^{2}x=0

\sin x-2+\sin ^{2}x=0

\sin ^{2}x+\sin x-2=0

Let sin x = u

u^2+u-2=0

Factor the quadratic equation.

(u+2)(u-1)=0

u + 2 = 0,  u – 1 = 0

u = –2, u = 1

That is sin x = –2, sin x = 1

sin x can't be smaller than –1 for real solutions. So ignore sin x = –2.

sin x = 1

The value of sin is 1 for 90°.

x = 90°.

Option C is the correct answer.
