In Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird, character motivations drive the plot. Atticus' motivations, which drive his actions, are based on being a man of honour. He is not racially prejudiced, and so he is willing to defend Tom Robinson as he would any many with a right to a fair trial.

Answer:

Option B.remain objective and avoid personalizing issues.

Explanation:

The basis of conflict resolution is to attack a problem, not personalizing issues. Negotiations involve focusing on facts and factual evidence that help steer the two parties involved.

In this scenario, a mutual agreement can only be reached if there is a mutual understanding between both parties. Personal differences are bound to occur, however, the main objective is the business of the day - getting the company going.

Read the excerpt from Chapter 5 of Wheels of Change.
melisa1 [442]
The aspect of historical context that this excerpt most reflects is a development in technology.
Bicycles were the most popular means of transport before the car was invented, but when first automobiles started to appear, everybody noticed how much more effective those were in comparison to bicycles. That is why more and more cars were produced, and fewer and fewer bikes.

Let's write describe that your a grandfather and you visited a zoo what did you do there
den301095 [7]
I’m going to assume this an essay prompt or something similar...feel free to change location or time if it needs to be specific to where you live.

It was one Saturday in early August when my grandfather and I visited the zoo. We always planned to spend a day together every month or two since I was getting so busy with sports and school. We arrived around 9:30 that morning. The first thing we saw when we walked through the elaborate gates of the Atlanta Zoo were the vibrant pink flamingos. We took pictures together and got matching t-shirts to wear for the rest of the day. After seeing gorillas, cheetahs, bears, and all kinds of birds, we decided it was time to eat some lunch. Since we were so fascinated by all the animals, we had totally forgotten about eating!! It was nearly 3:00 that afternoon when we finished lunch, and decided to head home. I told my mom and dad all about our day and decided that we had to go back as a family sometime soon!

Why do writers practice making observations?
Nookie1986 [14]

Answer:

the answer should be A or D

Explanation:

it could be A because writers love to put in some spice and create a world for their characters. when characters have a sense of living by doing things that people would do like observing why the rain is falling or trying to understan what others are doing at a certain situation this creates a form of realism ro the book.

it could also be D because writers are writing based on their ideas or opinios. what they write doesn't have to be true it just has to have make sense to both the writer and his/ her audience.
