“Birmingham Sunday” by Richard Fariña Come round by my side and I’ll sing you a song. I’ll sing it so softly, it’ll do no one wr

ong. On Birmingham Sunday the blood ran like wine, And the choir kept singing of Freedom. That cold autumn morning no eyes saw the sun, And Addie Mae Collins, her number was one. At an old Baptist church there was no need to run. And the choir kept singing of Freedom, The clouds they were grey and the autumn winds blew, And Denise McNair brought the number to two. The falcon of death was a creature they knew, And the choir kept singing of Freedom, The church it was crowded, but no one could see That Cynthia Wesley’s dark number was three. Her prayers and her feelings would shame you and me. And the choir kept singing of Freedom. Young Carol Robertson entered the door And the number her killers had given was four. She asked for a blessing but asked for no more, And the choir kept singing of Freedom. On Birmingham Sunday a noise shook the ground. And people all over the earth turned around. For no one recalled a more cowardly sound. And the choir kept singing of Freedom. The men in the forest they once asked of me, How many black berries grew in the Blue Sea. And I asked them right back with a tear in my eye. How many dark ships in the forest? The Sunday has come and the Sunday has gone. And I can’t do much more than to sing you a song. I’ll sing it so softly, it’ll do no one wrong. And the choirs keep singing of Freedom. Which of the following best describes the structure of this poem? ballad free verse sonnet blank verse

The excerpt suggested that the removal of the American Indians is a positive development. That is option B.

Who are the American Indians?

The American Indians are the indigenous people of America who are also called the native Americans. They were the original inhabitants of America before the arrival of the European settlers.

In 1830, President Andrew Jackson announced, in a Congress meeting, that the removal of the Indians beyond the white settlements is approaching to a happy consummation.

This is a positive development because it will give them freedom to pursue their own dreams as a nation.

The following question is based on your reading of 1984 by George Orwell.
Neporo4naja [7]

Answer:

He believes O'Brien is an ally of the resistance, but finds that he is an ally of the government.

Explanation:

Winston is a member of a group that presents itself as a resistance to a tyrant, authoritarian, dictatorial and violent government. This group works for the liberation of the nation from this type of government, which is extremely harmful for all citizens and even for the future.

However, the resistance is strongly fought and tortured by the government, making it necessary for its members to protect themselves and remain hidden and in complete digil.

O'Brien finds out how to get in touch with the resistance and gives a speech that convinces Winston that he is an ally of the resistance and that he is committed to fighting the government. However, he eventually discovers that O'Brien is an ally of the government infiltrating the resistance to torture all those who are declared opponents of the government.
