big;small they are using the reference of synonyms and you want the pile that is not the synonyms but the antonyms and petite means small so it cant be small small and it can not be big large because in retrospect large is big like a large amount of money it makes a big value and little small is used in the same light that big large is used in so you only have one answer choice left

Which statement best describes a valid scientific claim? A.The results of the experiment can be replicated by using any method o
masya89 [10]
I think the best answer from the choices listed above is option D. A valid scientific claim is best described by the statement "<span>The claim is supported by at least ten scientists in addition to the original researcher</span>". This is because this claim is being supported by a number of experts in that certain field.

What do you say to a coworker who does not share your moral or religious views concerning abortion?
Lelu [443]

Answer:

Validate them! The best thing you could do is validate that person (your coworkers) view. All because you do not agree, that does NOT give you the passage to put down those persons views. That is the worst thing you could do. That just causes conflict, and that is something we would all like to avoid. Especially in a work setting. Like politics, present your side. Don't be afraid and shy away from sharing your opinion just because your coworker doesn't agree. Voice your opinion loud and proud (and respectfully). Let them know that there are better opinion instead of abortion. Or if you are PRO abortion, then let them know why you believe it. Just make sure you stay true to yourself while remaining respectful.

Hope my advice helps! :))

Which details from the historical fiction piece "Marie Curie and the Discovery of Radioactivity" supports Marie's factual statem
Evgesh-ka [11]

Answer:1

The details from the historical fiction piece "Marie Curie and the Discovery of Radioactivity" that support Marie's factual statement are:

In the winter, it was so cold that she emptied her closet, piling the clothes on the bed so she'd be warm enough to sleep.

Explanation:

The question is not complete since it does not provide the options to answer, here are the options:

A) She also met the man who soon became her husband—Pierre Curie, a brilliant young physicist as promising (and poor) as Marie.

B) A moment later, people passing by the School of Physics and Chemistry were treated to a sight not often seen on the fashionable streets of Paris in the early 1900s: a bareheaded young woman in a laboratory smock, ripping eagerly into the pile of heavy sacks and burying her hands in . . . dirt?

C) In the winter, it was so cold that she emptied her closet, piling the clothes on the bed so she'd be warm enough to sleep.

D) No one, the Curies included, had ever seen this element. Still, the husband-and-wife team had given it a name: radium.

The factual statement does not focus on the discoveries of Marie Curie, it focuses on the kind of life and routine that she used to have when she was younger, and the techniques she needed to apply to keep warm, all this is presented with different words as a support sentence in the third given option.

Which part of persuasive speech analysis
laila [671]

The part of persuasive speech analysis the passage determines is the setting of speech, since it is about where the speech will occur, as stated in option C.

<h3>What is the setting of a speech?</h3>

The setting of a speech refers to the where, when, by whom, and to whom the speech will be performed. According to the passage in the question:

  • Where: At a conference in Nevada.
  • To whom: To doctors.

Although there is no clear information about who the speaker is and when the conference will take place, we already know something about the setting.

With the information above in mind, we can choose option C as the correct answer.
