The conveyor belt model is a three dimensional way of viewing cyclones. It shows the upper flow of three air streams: the warm, the cold and the dry air streams through the life cycle of a cyclone.
This model it is a development on older illustrative models such as the Bergen model by providing information about upper air interactions as well as clouds and precipitation associated with cyclones.
